We worked with Sarah Stormberg Estep and the product incubation team at TD Ameritrade to create a tool for expecting families to maximize their parental leave benefits. Incorporating parental leave benefits mandated by differing state laws, allowing users to map their company benefits, and providing scenario planning tools to evaluate trade offs between maximizing time off with impact on total financial compensation, the Nutshell scenario planner helped families navigate a complex equation at a stressful time in life.

In addition to tools for navigating corporate and state policy and scenario planning tools, Nutshell provides helpful check lists and quick reference tools to empower families. Strategic research and planning partner Bionic helped drive the corporate innovation work, and our software development partners at Shift Lab were instrumental in bringing this vision to life.
