Learning music by playing along
Bassist Matt Garrison is a mainstay of the Brooklyn jazz world, running the venue ShapeShifter and gigging broadly with world renowned musicians and local players. We worked with Matt to help develop a concept of a video-based, multi-track music education experience. The ShapeShifter app helps musicians learn to play and hone their craft by playing along with video of session musicians - easily adding in or subbing out different members of an ensemble to either learn technique or play along with different virtual groups.
